Every program is designed and led with the communities it serves, addressing conflict at its root rather than only its symptoms.

Listening sessions

Alternatives to Violence Project trainings, including with communities at Kakuma refugee camp.

Transformative mediation

Structured mediation that repairs relationships, not just settles disputes.

Help Increase the Peace Project, equipping young people with conflict-transformation skills.

Non-violent campaigns

Organized, non-violent action for social change led by community members themselves.

Community dialogues

Ongoing, facilitated dialogue that keeps neighbours talking long after a conflict has cooled.

Citizen reporters

A community call-in centre that surfaces early warning signs of conflict before they escalate.

Where we work

Rooted in western Kenya, present far beyond it

TCSC is based in Kakamega County and works across Bungoma, Siaya, Uasin Gishu, and Trans Nzoia, staying engaged with each community long after a crisis has passed. Our facilitators have also trained peacebuilders in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan.
